Zoo animal hurts tourist
A UK tourist was knocked unconscious at a French zoo – by a sweet-toothed giraffe.
Agnes Gwynn, from Truro in Cornwall, was going round La Palmyre zoo with her two children and stopped to admire the 18-foot creature, according to a report in the Daily Mirror.
But it arched its long neck and tried to steal some sweets from one of her children, knocking her out with its chin in the process.
The young mum told the paper: “I saw my little girl crying. I was completely knocked out for a few seconds.
“I carried on around the zoo, but I was in a daze.”
