  Enhancing Guest Experience with Complimentary Access to More Than 40,000 Global Newspapers, Magazines and eBooks

    Oceania Cruises®, the world’s leading culinary- and destination-focused luxury cruise line, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading ultra-luxury cruise line, today announced the launch of PressReader, a newly introduced service across both fleets that delivers thousands of global newspapers, magazines and eBooks directly to guests’ personal devices.   The rollout began on October 4, 2025, with Oceania Cruises’ Oceania Allura^TM, followed by Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ Seven Seas Navigator® on October 5, 2025. The remaining 14 ships across the respective fleets are scheduled to introduce the service in November. The complimentary service will gradually replace printed newspapers onboard, further enhancing the guest experience while supporting both brands’ Sail & Sustain environmental initiatives.   “We are delighted to provide our guests with an easy, convenient, and sustainable way to stay up to date on the news or relax with their favourite lifestyle magazine or latest eBook thriller while travelling the world in luxury,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.   “This partnership is a natural extension of PressReader’s founding vision: to keep people connected to the stories that matter most while they travel," said Ruairí Doyle, CEO of PressReader. "We're excited to help Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises deliver world-class guest experiences and advance their sustainability efforts."   Guests can easily connect via the ship's Starlink internet to browse leading titles, including The New York Times and The Economist, as well as regional publications, lifestyle magazines, and eBooks in multiple languages. While onboard, content can also be downloaded to personal devices for offline enjoyment during a shore excursion, or even on the flight home.   PressReader is available to all guests onboard, regardless of suite category or loyalty status. Its intuitive platform ensures guests can enjoy seamless access to the stories and publications that matter most to them, anytime and anywhere. The platform also enables both brands to host their own digital content, including eMagazines and brochures.   PressReader’s extensive global catalogue spans more than 120 countries and 60 languages, ensuring every guest can access publications that resonate with their personal interests.   Sustainable Luxury at Sea   By transitioning from printed newspapers to PressReader, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises will significantly reduce their consumption of resources, including paper, ink, and printing equipment. This greener, more efficient approach underscores both brands’ commitment to sustainability, aligning with Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ wider Sail & Sustain® initiatives, as well as their commitment to offering modern and convenient solutions to guests.
