IT’S YACHTING, NOT CRUISING® | ENJOY THE DIFFERENCE
SeaDream Yacht Club is a family-owned company. SeaDream’s sole Founder, Owner & Chairman, Atle Brynestad, founded Seabourn Cruise Line in 1987 and was its Chairman and CEO during its initial years. He has also served as Chairman of Cunard Line Ltd. and as a board member of Carnival Cruise Lines.
Established in 2001, SeaDream Yacht Club launched with twin mega-yachts, SeaDream I and SeaDream II, and has achieved the industry’s highest accolades. “It’s Yachting, Not Cruising” defines SeaDream’s mission: to provide a casual yachting experience that exceeds guests’ expectations as they explore the world’s most amazing destinations. This is our pleasure.
The SeaDream team, both shoreside and aboard, enjoy knowing they are providing unprecedented levels of luxury and service. SeaDream’s guests appreciate that whatever they choose to do (or not to do, for that matter) during their yachting holiday, they will be experiencing one of the best vacation experiences at sea. When designing SeaDream Yacht Club, Mr. Brynestad knew it would be the attention to detail and all-important impeccable service that would define yachting in the true sense of the word.
All guest rooms have an ocean view and the SeaDream experience is inclusive. Whether dining al fresco or in the salon, relaxing by the pool or enjoying a spa treatment, playing a round of golf in a golf simulator or taking a mountain bike ashore and exploring the port of call, our guests know that they are experiencing the most personalized and pampered holiday at sea. SeaDream I and SeaDream II itineraries are designed to call upon the most intimate ports, harbors and yachting playgrounds that larger ships cannot reach.
From May through October, SeaDream I and SeaDream II sail the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, and Northern Europe. From November through April, the twin, mega-yachts visit the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
To ensure that our guests experience all that each specially selected port of call has to offer, many of our itineraries feature overnight stays in some of the best yachting ports and harbors in the world. We happily welcome you aboard and look forward to welcoming you back again and again.

Seadream Yacht Club Awarded Highest-Rated Restaurant At SeaForbes Travel Guide has rated the best dining experiences at sea with SeaDream Yacht ...Read moreSeadream Yacht Club Awarded Highest-Rated Restaurant At Sea - News & announcementsForbes Travel Guide has rated the best dining experiences at sea with SeaDream Yacht Club coming out top of the list. Forbes Travel Guide has been setting the global standard in luxury hospitality for more than six decades. Its annual Star Awards - now in their 67th year - represent the industry's most respected benchmark, based on up to 900 exacting criteria assessed through anonymous inspections. Of all the dining experiences reviewed at sea, only five restaurants were awarded a star rating in 2025. SeaDream II was one of only three to receive the coveted four-star distinction. “Dinner in SeaDream II’s dining room is an unhurried ritual, where every course feels like a celebration,” notes the Forbes Travel Guide review. “There are no rushed seatings or fixed schedules - just exceptional cuisine, impeccable service and the lingering pleasure of a meal that feels tailor-made for you.” The rating highlights SeaDream’s commitment to daily-crafted menus featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a personalised dining experience in both its open-air and indoor settings. In addition to the restaurant honour, SeaDream II itself earned a Recommended rating from Forbes Travel Guide, placing it among just 14 cruise ships globally to be recognised in 2025. The Recommended rating underscores SeaDream’s reputation for intimate, high-touch travel experiences. “From the moment you step aboard SeaDream II, you’ll feel less like a cruise passenger and more like a guest aboard a private yacht,” the review states. “Unlike massive cruise liners, SeaDream II slips into smaller harbours like Portofino, St. Barts or Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor. You dock where the mega-yachts do, stepping ashore into charming villages or pristine beaches without the usual tourist crowds.” “This recognition is a true reflection of the passion and precision our culinary team and crew deliver every day. We take great pride in offering nothing but the finest dining experience at sea,” said Andreas Brynestad of SeaDream Yacht Club. The SeaDream yachts are the only cruise ships where all guests can dine al fresco in one single seating. With only 112 guests and a 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio, SeaDream delivers a uniquely personal and luxurious yachting experience. “Freedom is at the heart of everything we do. Guests are free to dine when they want, where they want and with whom they want - whether that’s a relaxed breakfast al fresco, a private dinner under the stars or a lively meal with new friends,” said Christophe Cornu, SeaDream Yacht Club’s Executive Hotel Manager. “A SeaDream dining experience is fresh, flexible and deeply personal, crafted à la minute with local ingredients and global inspiration,” added Cornu. Forbes Travel Guide is the only independent global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and cruise ships. Now in its 67th year, FTG’s anonymous inspectors assess properties against up to 900 rigorous standards, ensuring only the finest earn a place on their annual Star Awards list. “Forbes Travel Guide’s Star Award winners exemplify excellence in hospitality,” says Amanda Frasier, FTG's president of Standards & Ratings. “This year’s list reflects the changing landscape of luxury with properties setting the standard for authentic experiences, unparalleled amenities, enhanced well-being and the delivery of unforgettable moments. We are thrilled to recognise their dedication to creating world-class experiences for today’s discerning guest.” -

With the installation of shore power technology, both SeaDream yachts can turn off their engines and reduce emissions to zero in ports with shore power capabilities. "This is an important milestone and a significant step in our journey to more sustainable cruising," said Andreas Brynestad of SeaDream Yacht Club. SeaDream II completed the upgrade last autumn, while SeaDream I successfully underwent the upgrade during a recent stay at Naval Rocha Yard in Lisbon.
