Tourism Northern Territory works with North American travel agents to provide tools and training to help trade gain a thorough understanding of the Northern Territory and what it can offer their clients from accommodation to touring.

Training tools available include quarterly webinars featuring Northern Territory operators as presenters, comprehensive trade newsletters, general and regional brochures, trade fact sheets and a specialist training course through the Aussie Specialist Program.

The Northern Territory, best known as Australia’s Outback, offers two main diverse regions, the Red Centre and Top End. The Red Centre is home to the Outback pioneering town of Alice Spring, iconic UNESCO World Heritage listed Uluru-­‐Kata Tjuta National Park and Tennant Creek, the home of the last Australian gold rush.

Experiences in this region including hot air ballooning, camel trekking, skydiving and Aboriginal interaction. Heading north, the Top End of the Territory is a tropical oasis home to the Northern Territory capital of Darwin, UNESCO World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, ancient Arnhem Land and rugged Katherine.

Here travelers will discover waterfalls, billabongs, thermal pools, ancient Aboriginal rock art and more. A must do in the region is a billabong cruise in Kakadu National Park to do a bit of crocodile spotting!
