Fans will be able to join the event and climb Spain’s highest peak
The fifth edition of Vuelta al Teide is taking place on Saturday 7th May 2022 and Tenerife is ready to host the event that will bring together cyclists from all around the world.
Vuelta al Teide is set to start its route at 7 am and the program will have two categories:
‘Vuelta al Teide’ (€65/£54) with 175 km and 4,400 m of gained altitude; and ‘Half Vuelta al Teide’ (€55/£45) with 95 km and 2,000 m of gained altitude. Participants will have the choice to select the category of the event.
The gained altitude of the picturesque mountain village of Masca and the UNESCO-listed Teide National Park are some of the highlights of Vuelta al Teide. Additionaly, Tenerife is a firmed favourite for cycling enthusiasts due to the island’s exceptional conditions: a variety of routes, high altitude and amazing weather.
AluaSoul Orotava Valley and Alua Tenerife are the official hotel partners for Vuelta al Teide, both located next to the starting and finish lines in Puerto de la Cruz and overseeing Mount Teide, Spain’s highest peak.
