Southwest adds Hilo flights
Southwest Airlines is adding new flights to Hawaii.
The Dallas airline announced new service is coming to Hilo from Las Vegas, starting in August 2026.
The route operates three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
It joins Southwest’s Las Vegas–Honolulu service.
Southwest first launched Hawaii flights six year ago and now offers departures from Las Vegas, Phoenix, and across California.
“We’re thrilled to see Southwest Airlines expand its service to Hilo,” said Steve Hill, CEO and president of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
“This new route strengthens the deep connection we share with the people of Hawaii. Each new nonstop flight makes it even easier to visit Las Vegas and experience everything our destination has to offer.”
