Canadian Affair Appoints New Marketing Manager

Monday, Oct 25, 2021 0

Canadian Affair, the UK’s expert holiday company to North America, has appointed Nick Talbot as its Marketing Manager, effective immediately.

Talbot joins Canadian Affair from Kenwood Travel, where he led the business’ marketing function throughout the pandemic. Prior to that, Talbot served as Sales and Marketing Director at Funway Holidays for eight years, with overall responsibility for the company’s B2B and B2C online and offline marketing activities.

In his new role, Talbot will work closely with the management, product and sales teams to devise and execute marketing strategies for Canadian Affair and its sister brand, American Affair. He will report directly into Chris Hedley, who has been Managing Director of Canadian Affair since 2003.

Chris Hedley said: “We are delighted to welcome Nick on board at a crucial time for the business. Demand for Canada and the US is surging, and we’re offering more products, locations, and ways to fall in love with North America than ever before. Nick’s expertise and passion for the travel sector will be invaluable as we drive forward into 2022.”

Nick Talbot added: “I’m looking forward to working closely with Canadian Affair’s and American Affair’s provincial and destination partners, and crucially, with our travel agent partners, to keep Canada and the US at the top of every traveller’s travel to-go list.”
