To celebrate the return to service of Eastern & Oriental Express, a Belmond Train, Fred. Holidays has launched two new and exclusive itineraries combining the Wild Malaysia rail journey with land stays and a Mekong river cruise.

 

The three-night Wild Malaysia rail journey departs from Singapore and travels up north through the lush jungles of Malaysia. During the journey, there are a number of excursion options available including a wildlife discovery in Taman Negara National Park and a Peranakan cookery class in Penang. The train itself features a signature cream and green exterior, polished wood-panelled corridors and silken furnishings with a hint of multiple Asian designs. The 18- and 19-night Pandaw Authentic Mekong & Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train itinerary combines the three-night Wild Malaysia rail journey with a seven-night Pandaw Classic Mekong expedition cruise between Saigon and Siem Reap exploring the vibrant delta of Vietnam and the serene countryside of Cambodia as well as the awe-inspiring Angkor temples. Also included is a two-night stay in Singapore with city tour, a two-night stay in Saigon with a guided tour of the Cu Chi tunnels, a three-night stay in Siem Reap with guided sightseeing of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the Roulous Group and other iconic, sacred sites (a two-night stay with guided sightseeing of Angkor Wat on the 18-night itinerary), a cruise on Tonle Sap Lake (19-night itinerary only) and a visit to Angkor night market.
