Holland America Line unveils 2027 Grand Voyages

* 129-day and 70-day cruises on offer, departing in January
* Grand World Voyage to call at 53 ports in 23 countries
* 31 ports of call on Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage
Holland America Line has announced itineraries for its two Grand Voyages sailing in 2027.
The line will offer a 129-day circumnavigation of the globe on the 2027 Grand World Voyage, on Volendam, and a 70-day, region-specific in-depth exploration on the Grand South America & Antarctica Voyage, on Zaandam
Each voyage will call at ports that are exclusive to Grand Voyages, giving guests experiences not found on any other Holland America Line cruises.
The 2027 Grand World Voyage will sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, departing January 5, 2027.It will visit 53 ports in 28 countries, with overnight calls at seven destinations. 19 ports are exclusive to Grand Voyages, including Georgetown, Ascension Island; and Jamestown, St. Helena.
Volendam will head south along the west coast of South America, crossing the equator and sailing to Easter Island before exploring the islands of the South Pacific en route to Australia. From there, it will visit Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Sri Lanka, before sailing south around Cape Agulhas and north to St. Helena and Ascension Island, as well as up the west coast of Africa. It will then sail to Europe, followed by an Atlantic Ocean crossing.
Overnight stays will take place in Copenhagen; Bordeaux; Cape Town, South Africa; Bali, Indonesia; Sydney, Australia; Papeete, French Polynesia; and Callao (Lima), Peru. Additionally, the cruise will visit 81 UNESCO sites, including the Taj Majal, Westminster Abbey, Mont-Saint-Michel and the Great Barrier Reef.
The 2027 Grand South America & Antarctica voyage will sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, departing January 3, 2027. It will call at 31 ports in 13 countries, with seven ports exclusive to Grand Voyages, including Robinson Crusoe Island off the coast of Chile.
Zaandam will transit the Panama Canal before crossing the equator, sailing along South America’s west coast. The cruise will take in 11 ports as well as several days of scenic cruising through Chile’s fjords and glaciers. The ship will then cross the Drake Passage before a four-day Holland America Line Antarctic Experience, before sailing north and calling at 13 ports in the Falkland Islands and along South America’s east coast. The cruise will conclude cruising in the Caribbean en route back to Fort Lauderdale.
Overnight stays will take place in Fuerte Amador (Panama City); Panama; Callao (Lima), Peru; Montevideo, Uruguay; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The cruise will visit 28 UNESCO sites, including Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands.
On Grand Voyages, ship entertainment features local cultural performers and special guest headliners. In addition, festive gala balls and a Captain’s Grand Voyage Dinner will take place, and dining focuses on using local ingredients and showcasing regional cuisine.
