  • More flights and holidays on sale for Summer 23 from seven UK bases as customers flock to book some early summer sunshine
  • Latest expansion further underlines position as UK’s leading tour operator and airline to both destinations

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have expanded their programmes to Tenerife and Majorca for Summer 23, by introducing additional flights and holidays to the sunshine favourites from seven of their UK bases.

The UK’s leading tour operator and leisure airline to the Canaries and Balearics have added extra services to Tenerife and Majorca between March and May. This comes in response to strong demand from customers looking to enjoy flights and ATOL protected package holidays to the two hotspots in the early summer season and over the Easter holidays.

With more flights and holidays on sale between March and May from Belfast International, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle International Airports, customers and independent travel agents have unrivalled choice and flexibility when it comes to reaching both destinations in the early Summer season.

Today’s expansion represents an additional 11,000 extra seats to two of the most popular destinations that Jet2.com and Jet2holidays operate to. It means that the companies will offer more flights to Majorca and Tenerife between March and May from across their network of ten UK bases, with a huge choice of more than 2,000 departures in that time, perfect for holidaymakers looking to enjoy the early summer season.

The additional services announced today include:

  • Belfast International Airport – additional services to Tenerife and Majorca in April.
  • Birmingham Airport – additional services to Majorca in May.
  • Edinburgh Airport – additional services to Majorca in April.
  • Glasgow Airport – additional services to Majorca in April.
  • Leeds Bradford Airport – additional flying to Tenerife in March.
  • Manchester Airport – additional services to Tenerife in April and May along with extra flying to Majorca in May.
  • Newcastle International Airport – additional flying to Majorca in April.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “As the UK’s leading tour operator and airline to Majorca and Tenerife, we are always quick to react to the demand from customers and independent travel agents. The early summer season is proving to be enormously popular in both destinations and we are very pleased to be offering even more choice and flexibility as a result of today’s announcement. Our Summer 23 programme is looking extremely popular and today’s expansion shows that this popularity applies right across the summer season, not just during the peak holiday period.”
