Star Clippers celebrates record-breaking new ports of call for summer 2027

The tall-ship cruise line has announced 27 new ports of call across 7 countries for the summer 2027 Mediterranean sailing programme – the highest number of new additions in the line’s history.

The new ports of call include Astypalea, Pighadia, Gavrio, Chania, Skyros and Parga in Greece; Çeşme, Datça, Kaş, Kekova and Fethiye in Turkey; Roses, Barcelona and Peniscola in Spain; Menton in France; Trogir and Korčula in Croatia; and, in a brand-new country for the sailing cruises specialist, Albania’s Sarandë

Shipowner Eric Krafft explains, “With the wind as our driving force, we can reach destinations that large cruise ships simply cannot access. Twenty-four of the new ports in 2027 are completely new to us, demonstrating the remarkable possibilities our fleet offers.”

With some destinations making a return after a multi-year hiatus, such as Symi and Kastellorizzo in Greece, this demonstrates the demand not only for a refreshed programme, but reflects company’s new customers’ desire for these smaller, more unique ports of call.

The new destinations bring newly titled sailings, such as ‘Authentic Adriatic’ on board Royal Clipper  (departs Venice June 12th, July 4th and Aug 7th 2027, 7-nights from £2179pp), and ‘Eternal Cyclades’ on board Star Flyer (departs Athens June 26, August 28, September 25 2027, 7-nights from £1957pp)

The summer 2027 sailing programme runs from April – November, with Royal Clipper, Star Clipper and Star Flyer also returning to some of the line’s most popular destinations, such as ports along the Amalfi Coast on board Star Clipper (departs Civitavecchia May 1st, July 24th, August 22nd, 7-nights from £1957pp) and ‘Yachtsman’s Paradise’ on board Star Flyer (visit Skopelos and Poros and departs Athens June 19th and August 14th 2027, 7-nights from £1957pp).
