Virgin Voyages adds an extra perk to select sailings during Wave

Virgin Voyages is enhancing its current “80% off Second Sailor” offer with up to $300 USD in Sailor Loot, the brand’s name for onboard credit. The offer is available on select Caribbean voyages and the cruise line’s two European solar eclipse sailings.

Sailor Loot Offer

Under the enhanced Wave offer, Virgin Voyages will provide up to $300 USD in Sailor Loot per cabin on all new bookings made on eligible Caribbean and Eclipse voyages between January 16-19, 2026.

Once onboard, Sailor Loot gives travellers the freedom to personalise their getaway, whether that’s booking Shore Things (shore excursions), unwinding at Redemption Spa, enjoying special onboard experiences, shopping along High Street or even summoning Moët with the brand’s playful Shake for Champagne feature.

Eligible voyages include:

  • All Caribbean departures sailing round-trip from Miami or San Juan
    • Virgin Voyages’ Caribbean programme includes a broad mix of itineraries, with sailings to destinations such as Grand Turk, Ocho Rios, Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, St. Lucia and beyond.
  • Valiant Lady’s solar eclipse voyage to Iceland, Ireland and beyond, departing on August 5, 2026
  • Scarlet Lady solar eclipse voyage to Spain, Italy and beyond, departing on August 10, 2026

Stackable Wave Value

The added Sailor Loot enhances Virgin Voyages’ existing Wave offer, available to book through January 29, 2026, which includes:

  • 80% off the Second Sailor
  • Up to $400 in free drinks
  • Valid across Caribbean, Mediterranean and North American voyages

Trade Incentives for UK First Mates

In addition to the Wave promotion and enhanced onboard spend, Virgin Voyages continues to reward UK First Mates with two trade incentives running through February 26, 2026.

  1. Bring on Bimini

UK First Mates logging bookings on all Virgin Voyages products on sale through 2027 via First Mate Loot will be entered into a prize draw to win a place on a hosted Virgin Voyages UK sales team familiarisation trip to the Caribbean.

The seven-night Western Caribbean & Bimini Beach Club sailing onboard Resilient Lady departs April 11, 2026 and includes flights and hotel accommodation. The itinerary features a dedicated day at Virgin Voyages’ Beach Club at Bimini, the brand’s private beach club in the Bahamas, known for its relaxed, adults-only atmosphere, Caribbean-inspired dining and DJ-led poolside energy.

  1. Six Times More Rewards

First Mates will also earn £30 per booking, six times the standard reward, across all Virgin Voyages products on sale through 2027.

SJ Walker, Director of Sales, UK at Virgin Voyages, said: “Wave is when conversations turn into real intent, and we’ve built this offer around what our First Mates tell us helps them close with confidence. It’s about giving their clients meaningful value, from onboard credit they can actually use, to kid-free itineraries that suit every kind of traveller, while making sure our trade partners feel genuinely rewarded for choosing Virgin Voyages. We’re building this brand alongside our First Mates, listening closely to what they and their Sailors want, and creating offers that make selling easier and more rewarding at every step.”
