British Airways launching Portland flights
British Airways is launching a new US west coast route in summer 2022.
It will fly from London Heathrow to Portland from 22 June 2022, with five flights a week on Dreamliner jets.
It is part of the Atlantic Joint Business which BA operates with American Airlines, Iberia, Finnair LEVEL and Aer Lingus.
Other new routes planned include Barcelona to Los Angeles and Helsinki to Dallas.
The Atlantic Joint Business is a joint venture that started in 2010.
Customers can mix and match flights operated by any of the six carriers to get the best deals and enjoy smoother connections through coordinated schedules.
BA is also resuming service from Heathrow to Pittsburgh on 3 June 2022, while American Airlines will operate a seasonal Charlotte to Rome service next year.
