Vietnam reopening international tourism in mid-March
The Vietnam government has agreed to fully reopen borders from March 15 for international travellers. Foreign visitors won’t need to book tour packages asĀ is the case now for limited travel to certain tourist areas.
All arrivals aged 12 and above are required to be fully vaccinated or be Covid recovered, and also show a negative test result within 24 hours after arrival. Hotel self-isolatingĀ is required until receipt of the negative test result,
Visitors are required to have medical insurance cover for Covid treatment of at least $10,000.
