$12 million through VAX
More than $12 million in refund and commission payouts have been electronically transferred to travel agency bank accounts through the direct deposit feature in VAX VacationAccess.
Trisept Solutions says the direct deposit feature benefits both tour operators and agents.
More than 800 travel agencies utilize VAX, according to Trisept. Another 100 agents are being added later this month.
Through VAX, an agency’s site manager can complete an online registration form to request that all receivables be distributed electronically.
Rather than waiting for paper checks and postal services to deliver funds, all payouts to VAX are directly deposited into an agency bank account.
Trisept Solutions last fall added an Automated Clearing House feature as an added convenience. Agencies that did not receive or misplaced the itemized, direct deposit notification can view a detailed list of all their agency account deposits.
Trisept offers various leisure travel technology services.
