1CAR1 the UK’s largest Independent car rental company, has launched their “Outrageous October” campaign to kickstart bookings for 2008.
1CAR1’s James Frape says, “As the company that likes to look after around this time of year everyone starts to release prices for 2008 and it becomes a minefield of trying to work out who has the best price for the best group at a particular time of year.”
“You then have to work out what is included and what you need to pay for on arrival, and if there are any blackouts on the Earlybird.”
“As the actual car rental company that the customers will be renting off when they get to the other side of the world it allows us to be a lot more flexible with our pricing and the offers we can give.”
“As a result we are delighted to announce that for the month of October, customers wishing to book for the UK in 2008, can book and pay at 2007 prices.”
“Not only this but they can also receive a free upgrade on various models, with all prices and all cars 100% guaranteed the moment you book.”
“For example, if clients, book a small 3 Dr Manual, they will receive an upgrade to a 5Dr Vehicle with Air Conditioning (for $45/day for 7+ days).” “If they book a 1.6 Astra, they will receive an upgrade to a 1.8 Vectra Manual (for $56/day for 7+ days).”
“If they book a small automatic they will receive an upgrade to a 1.6 Automatic (for $58/day for 7+ days).”
“We really believe this offers the customer wanting to book ahead a real value for money saving and not just a free upgrade on 2008 prices, which can sometimes only save you a few $$ when you analyze it closer.“
“This provides a genuine saving and what’s more there are no blackout dates in peak season for this offer.”
“It is valid for all bookings travelling from 1st March 2008 onwards to the 28th February 2009.”
