2007 GO Travel Show & Conference

Monday, 15 Jun, 2007 0

Join us in Gettysburg, Pa. on Oct. 26-28 for the GO Show, the only group travel show featuring industry education and training as its primary focus. Travel buyers tell us they really appreciate the learning opportunities while suppliers love it because they not only get the chance to showcase their product to new prospects but also say they learn a few things.

This is the only group travel show to welcome members from each segment of the group travel industry. They often say they’re surprised how many quality prospects don’t attend the larger shows each year.

The daytime schedule focuses on business while evenings are for socializing and enjoying each other’s company. On Friday we’ll have a reception, followed by the “Fields of Freedom” film on the battle and finish with a Taste of Gettysburg Marketplace, with fun and food. Saturday evening we’ll venture into Old Town Gettysburg for dinner and your choice of entertainment, including a dance performance, interactive murder mystery or a walking tour. This won’t be your only chance to see Gettysburg, since our Sunday tour will visit the battlefield, Little Round Top, the Shriver House and 10 Pin Alley before lunch at the historic Dobbin House Tavern with Abe Lincoln.

We’ll be offering two different fam opportunities in conjunction with the show. Our pre-show trip, “Christmas, Chocolate & Cows, is scheduled from Oct. 22-26. As you can guess, it includes some sweet surprises and elements of the “most wonderful time of the year!”

The post-show trip, “Buggies, Trains & Motorcycles,” scheduled for post-show Oct. 28 through Nov. 1, highlights a host of attractions in Pennsylvania Dutch Country and an in-studio tour of a popular shopping network, with a special stop at a world-famous attraction in Westchester County.

Both trips include a guided tour of the local countryside and a dash of theatre including a peek backstage. The conference and fams are $49 for members and $99 for non-members. The itineraries for the fam trips are on the GO Show website. Reserve your spot now, as space is limited and the trips are filling quickly. Visit www.goexperience.com for more information and to register, or call 877-232-0633 for more information.
