If you want to really get away, how about a cruise spanning 41 ports and 25 countries.

Crystal Cruises is offering a 106-day World Cruise aboard the Crystal Serenity. Passengers will board the ship 18 January in Los Angeles and get off 5 May in Southampton, England.

The cruise will include seven segments.

“Each year our goal is to create the luxury cruise of a lifetime,” said Greg Michel, president of Crystal Cruises.

“The 2006 World Cruise is the ideal blend of unusual ports of call, overnight stays, coveted destinations and the unparalleled space, quality, choices and service that are unique to crystal Cruises’ ships,” he added.

This is Crystal’s 11th year in offering world cruises, and last year’s was successful. It received the line’s best ever ratings, according to Crystal.
