57 years and still going strong…..Fiji’s Blue Lagoon cruises’ Jo Tumaoto comes to town.
In a low key media lunch last week, relatively newly appointed Deputy General Manager Sales and Marketing for Blue Lagoon Cruises, Jo Tuamoto came to Sydney to express Blue Lagoon Cruises’ thanks to the media for all their support through Fiji’s recent troubled times.
[Jo Tuamoto pictured left, when he was Director of Marketing for Fiji Visitors Bureau, with Damend Gounder, Chairman of Fiji’s TAG during The Mole’s post coup visit to Fiji earlier this year.]
Celebrating 57 years of operations in the appropriate waterside setting of Cockle Bay’s Coast Restaurant, Jo said that Australia remained a key market for Blue Lagoon and this was demonstrated by the appointment of Courtney Sinclair as Blue Lagoon’s new Sales Manager Australia, with Blue Lagoon anticipating an increase in its portfolio in the future.
He added that he was delighted that Blue Lagoon continued to do well from Australia and New Zealand and that they very much appreciated the tremendous support of the Australia and New Zealand trade, by keeping booking Blue Lagoon.
