90% of visitors to NSW Northern Rivers satisfied
Northern Rivers Tourism says more than 90 per cent of people who visit Kingscliff and Cabarita, on the New South Wales north coast, are satisfied with the experience.
A Tourism Research Australia survey found just over 70 per cent of the visitors were there for holidays and nine out of 10 stayed overnight.
Chief executive officer Russell Mills says the information helps tourist operators improve their businesses.
“Yes the satisfaction results of the survey showed that … overall 92 per cent of all visitors were satisfied. Fifty-five per cent of the visitors were actually more than satisfied or very satisfied with their visit, so it’s a good score, a good result,” he said.
