A Charitable Affair between Fashion and Hospitality
Raffles International College Bangkok, in collaboration with Alila Cha-Am, luxury resort are combining their efforts to provide a better future for students of Cha-Am’s Baan Bang Kate School through the organization of a spectacular charity gala on 25 February 2011.
Thes evening event will span three stunning locations within Alila Cha-Am. Upon arrival, guests will stroll through a gabion stone wall corridor transformed into a unique exhibition space. Here will be displayed the works of Raffles graduate students of 2010, beautifully lit to best showcase the students’ innovations.
Guests will then arrive at the Red Bar for event registration, where mouthwatering cocktails and canapés will be served. A silent auction will allow guests the opportunity to purchase one of five haute couture gowns exclusively designed by Raffles students. Guests will then be ushered to the fountain courtyard where an intimate and unique fashion show will be held.
Part of the proceeds raised from the gala will be donated to the Baan Bang Kate School. Over the past three years, Alila Cha-Am has been working closely with this local school to improve its facilities and resources. As one of the most prominent design colleges in the region, Raffles International College believes in the power of education and is committed to raising the highest sum possible for the students and staff of the school.
In conjunction with this event, Alila Cha am will be offering special packages for the gala weekend.
