A CREEPING RECESSION…
Recession, a creeping reality….
Saturday mid afternoon, its sunny and I’m driving into town. Park the car then wait for a break in the traffic to safely cross the road to my favorite Pub for a well earned pint of Beer…
Only one thing wrong.
There is no traffic. Not a single car, van, bus, motorcycle and that is the way it stays for a good five minutes. Is it a one off? No. Using the same section of road on further visits, the traffic is much, much lighter. This my friends is the reality. Save money, leave the car at home only use it for work, drink at home not in the Pub. We had better ask our Parents about Rationing because that is next. Hard hats all round, it’s going to be a bumpy ride…for some it’s already started but no one told us. Well you know now! Have a closer look at the traffic in your town if you don’t believe me!
PS for those worried about me driving to drink, I always without fail stay safely within the limit.
Our picture shows the Independence of the Seas at Cobh, Ireland during its maiden voyage when the whole country seemed to turn out to greet us and again to wave us off complete with the tiown band!
