A very different Australia Day with Captain Cook.
Captain Cook Cruises has announced a special Australia Day Sydney Harbour two night Cruise from 25th to 27th January 2007 onboard the MV Captain Cook’s Explorer.
The Australia Day Cruise begins at 6.00pm with a welcome dinner and the lights of the spectacular city as the backdrop and the vessel will spend the night anchored in Farm Cove in front of the famous Sydney Opera House.
Waking up on Australia Day in the heart of the harbour action, guests will enjoy a special Australia Day breakfast and Botanical Gardens walk, then sit back and enjoy front row seats for the annual Ferrython, Australia Day Harbour Parade, the Australia Day Regatta and the Australian Defence Force Aerial Display and if that’s not enough, witness the breathtaking fireworks at the gala dinner that evening.
Passengers can wander ashore the following morning or just have a relaxing morning before a delicious al fresco luncheon on the top deck of the MV Captain Cook’s Explorer.
The Australia Day Cruise departs on Thursday 25 January 2007 at 6.00pm from No.1 King St Wharf, Darling Harbour and disembarks at 3.00pm on Saturday 27th January 2007.
Prices for the two night Australia Day Cruise start from $595 per person for a twin share Inside Cabin. Prices include shipboard accommodation, all meals, onboard facilities and most shore excursions.
