This week saw the Scandinavian Tourist Board (STB) together with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) put on a show to remember at the Vibe Hotel in Rushcutters Bay, with a stunning ABBA themed evening.

The Sydney travel industry was invited to this ABBA themed event to get the tips on what’s hot and what’s not about this unique Nordic destination from the insiders with local knowledge and wisdom.

Kjell Ellefsen, senior executive of STB Regional Headquarters in Tokyo and Lars Oloffson, SAS Managing Director revealing the reasons why Australians love Scandinavia so much – with visitors up a massive 14% increase on visits from last year.

Guests danced the night away to the tunes of ABBA, enjoyed a cleansing ale with a Carlsberg beer, a traditional Scandinavian smorgasbord with delicacies from all three countries; Denmark, Norway and Sweden, and finished the evening off with a schnapps!
