ABTA Convention bookings up
ABTA has already taken 1,250 bookings for this year’s Convention in Cairo, 18-21 October.
Keith Betton, ABTA’s Head of Corporate Affairs, told TravelMole that he believes “the target of 1500 will be passed”. However, he pointed out that a lot of delegates will not have noticed that the prices go up on 20 August, when registration for ABTA Members, which is £199, will go to £284, and registration for non-members, which is currently £468, will go up to £553.
Confirmed speakers for the convention include:
Rod Eddington (BA)
David Crossland (MyTravel)
Anita Roddick (Body Shop)
Sir Ranulph Fiennes (explorer)
Jonathon Porritt (Forum for the Future)
Bob Worcester (MORI)
