ABTA puts consumer protection under the spotlight
ABTA is holding its fifth “Business Lunch”, during which guests will have a chance to find out more about the recent changes made to ATOLs, and how the protection of holidaymakers will work in the future.
The guest speaker at the event is Helen Simpson, who is group director for consumer protection at CAA. Ms Simpson will disclose the findings of the CAA’s recent review of the ATOL system, during which the organisation invited comments from the industry on how holidaymakers should be protected in the future. Ms Simpson will also take questions from guests at the lunch.
The lunch is being held at ABTA headquarters in London on 20 November.
The lunch starts at 12pm with a drinks reception and costs £69 for members and £81 for non-members. This includes a three course meal and half a bottle of wine. The event is expected to finish around 2.30pm. Click here for more details.
