ABTA takes wraps off new logo

A new ‘refreshing’ ABTA logo has been unveiled to coincide with the organisation’s change of name to ABTA, the Travel Association.

The new design replaces an image which has been in use for more than 20 years.

The revamped logo follows organisational changes made by ABTA to better reflect the trade it represents.

ABTA chief executive Amrk Tanzer said: “Now is exactly the right time to update our logo. ABTA is a dynamic organisation that has been changing substantially throughout the past two yeasr to better serve members and consumers.

“The new logo is refreshing, contemporary and really fits with our strategies to move ABTA into a more interactive age.”

Nick O’Toole, of design agency Open Associates, said: “It was important for ABTA to retain the recognisable components of the logo, namely the globe and the ABTA letters, but equally it was badly in need of a more contemporary feel.”
