Lewsey is well-known in the travel industry, having worked at Silversea Cruises and Amadeus as well as holding other positions in the tour operating, solutions and airline sectors in a career spanning more than 30 years.

Prior to joining Accord, he worked as director of marketing for luxury five-star hotel: ME London, Corinthia Hotel London and Hotel Café Royal.

In his new role, Lewsey is responsible for expanding the programme of marketing and communication initiatives within Accord’s specialist sectors of travel and tourism, charity, over-50s and recruitment marketing.

Lewsey said: "I am thrilled to be joining Accord during such an exciting time of transition, growth and new opportunity.

I look forward to leveraging my 30 years’ experience in the travel and tourism sector to devise and deliver an innovative communications strategy that will firmly position Accord as a proudly independent, award-winning agency."

Accord CEO Sally Winfield commented: "After celebrating 30 incredible years in the travel marketing sector last year, we are aiming to build on this success and ensure that 2019 is Accord’s most successful year to date.
