One of the world’s biggest shopping, entertainment and cultural extravaganzas, The Dubai Shopping Festival from December 07 to February 08 is on Tempo Holidays’ travel agenda, with Tempo Holidays‘ Dubai product manager, Jeremy Hearst saying Dubai turns on the charm for the shopping festival.

Every year, Dubai Shopping Festival lives up to its promise of staging the most exciting activities for the whole family inspired by the theme One World, One Family, One Festival.

There are other events as well, including international fashion shows, children’s events, street side performances and nightly fireworks, and millions of dollars worth of prizes to be won.

Tempo suggests its three-day Taste of Dubai package (from $321 per person) as ideal for travellers wishing to take part in the festival … and for exploring. Price includes hotel, two breakfasts, a half day tour of the city’s highlights, return transfers, meet and assist service at the airport and a handling fee.

For those who prefer just accommodation, they can choose from Tempo’s wide selection of city and beach hotels including five-star deluxe Madinat Dar Al Masyaf (from $483) , luxurious Arabian summer houses nestled within waterways and gardens, the five-star Jumeirah Beach Hotel (from $421) which takes prime position on the Jumeirah beachfront, four-star Hawthorn Hotel (from $148) in the Deira area and the three-star Ibis World Trade Centre Hotel (from $109) at the World Trade Centre.

Travellers can also choose from the many sightseeing tours from Dubai including the highly recommended Sundowner Dune Dinner (from $117 per person). This includes a thrilling 4WD trip through the desert and a traditional Bedouin dinner where guests feast on local delicacies while being entertained by a belly dancer.

Tempo is set to release its 2008 Egypt Dubai & Oman brochure this week.

All package and accommodation prices are per person twin share.
