Advantage boosts its Local Experts network
Five destination management companies (DMCs) have signed up to join the Advantage Local Experts network.
The DMCs cover China, Cyprus, Malta, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Cuba and bring the total number of countries covered to nearly 50.
The new members are Asian Trails, G.A.P. Vassilopoulos Group in Cyprus, Trails of Indochina, A.von Brockdorff Services in Malta and Cubarama.
Neil Armorgie, chief executive of WIN which provides the Advantage Local Experts network, said: "We established Local Experts in response to requests from members both in the UK and within our international network of travel management companies around the world.
"It’s an opportunity to tap in to the expertise and insight of local organisations to ensure every traveller has the support they need and the best experience possible."
Local Experts were set up to assist Advantage members’ clients travelling on business to destinations where they need additional support.
For example, concierge services such as event tickets, restaurant recommendations and reservations, 24-hour emergency support, bespoke accommodation, private transfers, personalised tours, language expertise, VIP services as well as ground transportation and venue assistance for groups, meetings and conferences.
