Advantage to hold its own conference

Friday, 29 Aug, 2007 0

Advantage has isued a statement confirming it will hold its own annual conference next year.

It says the event, due to be held at the beginning of October for both its business and leisure members, will be in addition to the Triton Travel Group Conference scheduled to take place in May 2008.

The exact dates and location of the three-day Advantage event are in the process of being finalised.

Advantage chief executive John McEwan said: “We are very excited to be bringing our members together for this major conference next year. Since the majority of our members have a stake in both business and leisure travel, it makes sense to bring the two together in this format.

“However, our decision to hold an Advantage-only conference has no impact on our relationship with Triton of which we remain an integral part.”
