Advantage unveils annual award winners

Jetset’s website was judged to be the best leisure trade bookable website and Travelport was the best business travel technology provider in annual awards presented by Advantage Travel Centres.
Ten awards were presented at the consortium’s annual conference in Lucerne recognising the achievements of both members and business partners.
Buckinghamshire-based Giles Travel was votes as the best business travel member while Scotland’s Barrhead Travel was named best leisure travel member.
The best overall leisure company award went to Thomas Cook; Superbreak won the award for best agent friendly leisure travel company, and Danny Joel of Cadogan Holidays was voted best leisure company representative.
Emirates picked up the award for the best business travel company; the Best TMC friendly travel company was Lufthansa Group, and Darren Gilbert of Virgin Atlantic was named best business travel company representative.
