Adventure specialist makes trade debut
Adventure holiday operator Mighty Fine Company is to sell through the trade after signing a commercial deal with the Travel Trust Association.
The TTA’s 400 members will sell the year-old operator via its intranet.
The agreement is the first step to working with the trade since launching an online consumer brand focusing on adventure holidays with an emphasis on Scandinavia.
Mighty Fine managing director Andrew Williams said: “Until now, we have not been in a position to work with the trade. We were new, the focus was on building good product content and creating a brand that was innovative and desirable to differentiate us from the average tour operator.
“This is now well under way and our first year of trading has exceeded expectation, so we feel confident that selected travel agents will be attracted by the Mighty Fine portfolio. We are in the process of discussing other commercial opportunities and fully expect to announce further retail trade relationships in due course which affirms that Mighty Fine has come of age”
TTA managing director Steve Clarke said: “The Mighty Fine product is an interesting concept which provides activity and experience holidays with a difference – this holds wide appeal to our individual customer audience. Additionally, there is no single operator out there that has such a good, diverse product offering to Scandinavia and I feel that Mighty Fine will fill that gap for us.”
