ADVENTURE WORLD ACTS ON MUMBAI
Leading India wholesaler, Adventure World has moved quickly to help travellers caught up in the Mumbai terrorist attacks.
Managing director Peter Newsom said the company has been assured that all Adventure World passengers have been found to be safe and secure.
He added that the company has promptly implemented strategies to assist travellers already in the region and those with future bookings.
Group product and marketing manager Michael Edwards said, “The company is ready to help passengers in India with alternative arrangements if they wish to avoid Mumbai. “
He said that for travellers with future bookings alternative itineraries can be arranged within India or other destinations or travel can be deferred to a later date at no extra cost to the passenger.
He said the company was negotiating with suppliers in India regarding deposits held on future travel.
Edwards said, “We are closely monitoring the situation in Mumbai and are in constant communication with our operators in India to ensure we receive the latest, relevant information as it comes to hand.â€
He added, “We understand the situation is volatile and are doing our utmost to assure our passengers that we have their well being and travel requirements at heart”.
