Aer Lingus expands American Airlines codeshare
Aer Lingus has augmented its existing transatlantic airline codeshare with American Airlines.
Travellers can now book flights with either Aer Lingus or American between Dublin and Chicago or Philadelphia.
The airline codeshare arrangement launched in 2022.
It already enables Aer Lingus customers to book direct transatlantic flights from Dublin to Charlotte, NC and Dallas-Fort Worth flying with American Airlines.
The codeshare agreement also allows Aer Lingus fliers to travel onwards on a single ticket to US destinations including Nashville, Las Vegas, Portland and Tampa.
It is part of a more comprehensive Atlantic joint business partnership with American Airlines and IAG airlines including Aer Lingus, plus Finnair.
