Aer Lingus launching Cancun flights
Aer Lingus is adding a new country to its flight network.
It will introduce nonstop flights to Mexican tourist hotspot Cancun next January.
The route launches on January 6 with flights available to book now.
Seasonal flights will run three times weekly until April 29 2026 on A330-300 aircraft.
Aer Lingus CEO Lynne Embleton said: “Our research highlights a strong appetite for seasonal destinations beyond the peak summer period. Mexico, with its tropical climate, caters to the growing consumer demand for winter sun.”
The news has been warmly welcomed by Quintana Roo State Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa.
“Quintana Roo, the Mexican Caribbean, celebrates the first direct Dublin – Cancun flight from Aer Lingus. We will work together to make this a successful operation.”
