Aer Lingus re-instates service
Aer Lingus is to re-instate direct services between Ireland and Baltimore/Washington airport.
The service begins in Dublin but will be direct from Shannon from March 30. It will operate daily except Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Aer Lingus already has existing gateways at New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles.
The carrier launched the Ireland-BWI service in September 2000 but dropped it last October because of the drop off in traffic following the September 11 attacks.
