Aer Lingus restarting Miami flights

Monday, 10 Feb, 2022 0

Aer Lingus announced it will restart its direct service from Dublin to Miami from 21 October this year, with seats on sale now.

Customers will once again be able to travel directly to Miami this October with Aer Lingus via Dublin, operating two services per week until 28 October, and then increasing to three per week.

Aer Lingus offers connections to Miami from 8 UK airports; London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh and Glasgow via Dublin, where customers can connect onto the transatlantic route, pre-clearing US Customs and Immigration in Dublin.

Miami is the latest transatlantic route from Aer Lingus to resume, following the resumption of the Dublin to Orlando service in November 2021.

Bill Byrne, Executive Vice-President US at Aer Lingus said; "We are delighted to be building back our US connectivity this year and there’s no doubt that travel is back for 2022. We are so happy to be flying to the US again."

Aer Lingus offers 14 direct routes between Ireland and North America, including New York, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando, Washington, Seattle, and Philadelphia.

Its daily flights to San Francisco restarts on 25 February, while daily flights to Los Angeles start on 12 May.

The Seattle service is returning to five times per week on 26 May.
