‘Affordable’ hotel coming to Soho
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. is building its 14th branded hotel in New York in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood, where it will be the first newly built moderately-priced hotel in the area, according to company officials.
Ground was recently broken for the 150-room, Four Points by Sheraton Soho Village.
The hotel company says the facility will provide an affordable lodging alternative in one of Manhattan’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
Hotel guestrooms will offer views of the Hudson River. There will also be a full-service restaurant, a bar-lounge, a fitness center and meeting space.
Four Points by Sheraton, with more than 136 properties in 17 countries, is owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
