AFTA Board Elects Executive Officers

The Board of the Australian Federation of Travel Agents met in Melbourne on Saturday July 8, 2006 immediately following the Federation’s Annual General Meeting and elected the following Executive Officers:

CHAIRMAN
Mr. Bob Steel – Managing Director, Travelscene American Express Group

VICE CHAIRMEN
Mr. Carl Buerckner – Managing Director, Hogg Robinson Group
Mr. Russell Carstensen – Managing Director, Concorde International Travel

The Executive Officers hold their elected position for a year commencing July 8, 2006 and ending with the Annual General Meeting of the Federation to be held at the Westin Hotel, Sydney on July 14, 2007.
