Agents alerted to new US flight pricing

Peter Marshall, director of Cruise Abroad, has alerted travel agents who are pricing US flights to be aware of a new command appearing in Sabre.

For example, with a Delta flight from Sydney to Seattle, the first bag is free but only to LAX then passengers still have to
pay for the one bag from LAX to SEA and vice versa.

“This is completely new,” said Marshall, who advises agents to be “very careful
 when quoting fares and pricing”.

He added, “Meals are also additional now and this seems to be applying to Hawaiian, United, Delta and Alaska Airlines.”
