Agents gain access to lowest Bmi fares
Agents will gain access to lowest Bmi fares previously only available direct via its website through a distribution deal with Travelport GDS.
The airline signed a three-year full content agreement with Amadeus earlier in last week. It also agreed a long term distribution agreement with Sabre Travel Network.
The multi-year full content deal with Travelport gives Galileo and Worldspan-connected agents access to all of the airline’s fares and inventory, including its lowest web-only rates.
Travelport GDS EMEA airline service vice-president Matthew Hall said: “We are delighted to have signed this full content agreement and be able to give our agency customers access to Bmi’s full inventory, including their lowest fares which were previously only distributed on their website.â€
The airline’s managing director Peter Spencer said: “The extensive worldwide network of Galileo and Worldspan will deliver exceptional reach to agents and is an important part of our distribution mix.
“It perfectly complements our multi-channel strategy and will be a key driver as we look for ways to continually grow our business.â€
