Agoda taps Amadeus to boost flight options
Singapore-based travel Agoda will access the Amadeus Travel Platform and begin offering travellers more tailored content from Amadeus’ partner airlines.
There will be an enhanced choice and better comparison capabilities via Agoda’s website or app, it says, utilising Amadeus Travel Platform content.
Andrew Smith, SVP, Supply at Agoda said, “We’ve invested significant resources into building our flights value proposition. Our partnership with Amadeus is a key milestone in that effort.”
The new Amadeus-powered airline offering from Agoda went live in Thailand in September, with ambitions to expand the partnership across the APAC region by the end of the year.
Tristan Nielson, VP, Online Sales, Amadeus, said: “Agoda is one of the largest online travel agencies in the Asia Pacific market and this partnership continues to drive our presence in the region.”
As Agoda is part of Booking Holdings Group, this new alliance will be incorporated into Booking Holding’s existing relationship with Amadeus.
