Ahead of Baha Mar rebrand, Melia unveils new restaurants
Currently undergoing a $19 million renovation, The Melia Nassau Beach hotel has revealed details of four new restaurants planned at the resort.
It includes Mexican restaurant Cilantro, Nikkei, which serves Japanese, Cantonese and Peruvian cuisine, and the Black Angus steakhouse, all located on the fourth floor.
Spanish tapas bar Estavida will be sited on the hotel lobby level.
These are in addition to existing outlets Aqua, The Market Place and O’Grille.
The former Sheraton resort will eventually have at least eight restaurants and bars
The property will be rebranded to the Melia at Baha Mar when it becomes part of the $3.5 billion Baha Mar mega resort which officially opens in spring 2015.
The 1,000-acre Baha Mar resort will eventually feature over 40 restaurants and bars, and over 2,900 hotels rooms.
Of the five hotels located in the development, the upcoming Melia at Baha Mar will be the only one offering all-inclusive accommodations.
