Air Astana launching flights to Mumbai
Kazakhstan flag carrier Air Astana is launching new flights to India.
It will link its Almaty hub with Mumbai starting June 1, 2020 with four flights a week.
The four and a half hour route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft.
It is Air Astana’s second destination in India, having served Delhi since 2004.
The airline is kicking off sales with an introductory promotional fare available to book until March 31, 2020 starting from US$399 in Economy class.
Meanwhile, Air Astana’s low cost brand FlyArystan is expanding in Almaty with added capacity on existing routes in time for the summer season.
It is adding an extra daily flight to the capital Nur-Sultan to three times daily, and the Almaty-Pavlodar route will be increased from daily service to 10 flights a week.
"With new routes and more capacity for the summer even more people will be able to take to the skies to explore or to catch up with relatives and friends," said Janar Jailauova, FlyArystan director of sales and marketing.
