Air Canada, flydubai ink airline codeshare partnership
Air Canada and flydubai announced a new airline codeshare partnership for, easy onward connectivity throughout the Middle East, East Africa, and South Asia .
Air Canada’s marketing code will be placed on nine routes operated from Dubai by flydubai, through ticketing.
The routes include the Medina, Dammam, Bahrain, Jeddah, Muscat, Colombo, and Karachi .
Additionally, an interline arrangement offers connections in Dubai to over 60 destinations in the flydubai network.
These include Kathmandu, Djibouti, the Maldives and more.
Of these destinations, more than 30 are unique to flydubai.
“Air Canada is very pleased to further expand connectivity” said Mark Galardo, Air Canada EVP, Revenue and Network Planning.
The airlines also plan on further improving the connection process in Dubai.
This will comprise reciprocal loyalty benefits.
