Air Canada up 50%
Air Canada is responding to “peak summer travel demand” by incresing 50% of its flights this summer from Montreal to three European cities. The airline will begin double-daily nonstop flights from Montreal to London 1 June, and to Frankfurt 1 July. It will introdeuce twice-daily nonstop flights to Paris 23 June. All flights will be operated through the peak summer period using 767s in a two-class configuraiton. The airline this summer will also offer nonstop flights from Montreal to both Vienna and Munich on a codeshare basis. In total, Air Canada will offer 52 nonstop flights per week next summer from Montreakl to five European destinations. Report by David Wilkening
