Air China goes e-ticketing with Amadeus
TAIPEI – With a year to go before the Beijing Olympics 2008, Amadeus subscribers in Taiwan will now be able to offer electronic ticketing for Air China, the sporting event’s official airline partner.
“With the launch of the e-ticketing facility through Amadeus, Air China will now be able to enjoy a simpler workflow. Not only will ticket processing and monitoring be much faster than before, we will also be able to enjoy significant cost savings that were otherwise not achievable through the paper ticketing process,” said Mr Fajin, senior manager, e-commerce department, Air China.
Amadeus claims world leadership leader in e-ticket distribution having enabled e-ticketing for 202 airlines and 143 markets.
