Air France to launch new service from Paris to Aberdeen and Bristol

Air France today announced plans to launch two new routes to Paris from Aberdeen and Bristol.

Air France will start 3 daily services from both Aberdeen and Bristol on 27 October 2002, offering customers flights to the French carrier’s hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Flights will be operated by Régional, an Air France subsidiary, using Embraer 145 aircraft with 50 seats on the Bristol Paris route and Embraer 135 aircraft with 37 seats on the Aberdeen Paris service.

Air France General Manager for UK and Ireland, Christian Herzog, said: “These are exciting times for Air France. Despite tough market conditions we are continuing to expand our operations. There is good potential in these markets for business and leisure travel to France and beyond.

“We are pleased to offer customers in these important cities a choice of daily frequencies to Paris and connections to Air France’s extensive world-wide network with a fast and efficient transit at our Charles de Gaulle Hub.”

Currently, Air France offers direct daily services from a the following British and Irish cities to Paris CDG: Birmingham, Dublin, Edinburgh, London Heathrow, London City, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton. It also offers one stop services from Belfast, Jersey, Shannon, Isle of Man, Glasgow, Guernsey and Cork.

The schedule for the new routes from Aberdeen and Bristol to Paris will be:

Aberdeen to Paris CDG:
(Monday to Saturday)
departs 06:10, arrives 09:15
departs 11:40, arrives 14:45
departs 17:15, arrives 20:20

(Sundays)
departs 11:40, arrives 14:45
departs 17:15, arrives 20:20

Paris CDG to Aberdeen:
departs 09:55, arrives 11:00
departs 15:30, arrives 16:35
departs 21:10, arrives 22:15

Bristol to Paris CDG:
departs 10:15, arrives 12:30
departs 15:45, arrives 18:00
departs 19:45, arrives 22:00

Paris CDG to Bristol:
departs 07:45, arrives 08:05
departs 13:40, arrives 14:00
departs 18:45, arrives 19:05
