Air India grooming standards spark controversy
Air India’s new cabin crew grooming standards have raised eyebrows.
The new Cabin Crew Handbook has listed new grooming rules which have annoyed employees.
The most contentious move involves men’s’ hair – or lack of it.
Any flight attendants with receding hairlines must shave their heads for ‘a full bald look’.
The airline also wants to outlaw grey hair.
Anyone going grey must dye their hair regularly ‘in natural shades.’
Religious jewellery and accessories are banned, sparking widespread criticism online.
